04 Nov Books for Business in November
We have partnered with the Knoxville Chamber in a program called Books for Business to give you chance to win a copy of a different business-related book each month (we’ll be giving away 25 copies of each book). The books are recommended by prominent area business leaders. Each month, the first 25 people to register below will receive that month’s book.
In October we gave away “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team” by Patrick Lencioni. This book was recommended by Dr. Michael McIntyre, Director of UT’s Professional MBA Program. We hope those of you that got a copy of this book have enjoyed it as much as we have! It is now a new month and we have a new book that we are excited to give out.
“Personal client relationships, common in small businesses settings, present a unique opportunity for illustrating authenticity. Because your company is represented by employees’ individual personalities, lessons learned from this book offer benefit to you personally and to your company as a whole. The seven “habits” provide a good pattern for aspects of both your personal life and professional life: focus on what success looks like then take actions to get there, be willing to listen to others, be positive, and most importantly treat others the way you want to be treated. By incorporating these aspects, success should be within everyone’s reach.”
